Barry Minnock continued his good form when easily winning the IMRA Fairy Chase anniversary race on Saturday. Mike Long was 23rd. The ladies Rathfarnham WSAF team took the Irish club championship title from DUHAC with Zoe Melling 2nd, Laura Flynn 4th, Vanessa Sallier 7th and Fidelma Ayres 8th. We had a small team in the Intel BHAA 10K Road race on Saturday. In 250C first home was John Brennan in 5th place in a time of 35.31, followed by Terry Clarke (37th, 40.10), Eoin Murray (59th, 42.13), PJ Claffey (93rd, 45.13), and Heiner Schuster (115th, 47.27). At Greystones track meeting on Friday Mick Bolger ran 4.53 for the mile and showed no ill effects of his recent marathon exertions. Rory O'Hanlon ran 5.09 while Alex Fraser set another PB of 5.26. Well done to all....Author: Peter Claffey, Created: 21-05-2010 18:11
In the Graded Meeting on Wednesday Raedi Higgins was our only lady competitor when she ran the 400m in 71.9 seconds. In the men's 400m Brian McCabe ran 56.6 in his first race back, while Stuart McClean ran 56.6. In the men's mile Brian O'Donoghue ran 4.38, Louis McCarthy ran 4.41, while Alex Fraser ran another PB in a time of 5.30. Well done to all...Page 159 of 185
