The Dublin Athletics graded track and field meeting number 2 took place on Wednesday May 11th in Morton Stadium, Santry. Rathfarnham WSAF AC athletes were in good form. We had four athletes from the club travelling to the Great Limerick Run with a choice of three distances. Young Andrew Mullen annihilated his marathon PB with a time of 2:58.24 and consistant Rod Doyle ran 3:03.39. In the half marathon Kevin Donagher was 6th overall in a great time of 71.13. Rathfarnham WSAF AC had a great turn out at the National 10k Road Racing Championships incorporated into the Great Ireland Run in the Phoenix Park on April 9th. At the National Road Relays in Raheny on Sunday 24th April, our ladies team took the national silver medal. The A team was led out out by Louise Gaffney who ran the 1 mile course in 5.21.
