Some good performances were recorded by Club members at the graded meeting in Irishtown on Wednesday. In the Mens 1,500m Brian O'Donoghue ran 4.19, Paul McGovern ran 4.21, Terry McConnon 4.43, and Alex Fraser ran a PB of 5.01. Raedi Higgins ran 31.59 in the ladies 200m. Well done to all. Congratulations to Lesley Tilson, Lorraine Nolan and Sabine Lainer who achieved PBs in each of the three races comprising the Great Limerick Run on Sunday. Lesley was 11th woman in the 10k in 40 mins, Lorraine was 13th in the half marathon in 1.38, and Sabine continued to chip away at her marathon time, finishing in 8th place in 3.37. Full results ...

Well done to everyone who competed in the BHAA 5 mile road race yesterday at RTE headquarters in Donnybrook. First home from the club was Gearoid O'Connor, who finished in 10th place in 27.36. Congratulations to Paul Fleming and Donna Mahon who won the men's and women's races in the inaugural K-Club 10k in Straffan on Saturday. Finishing in a commendable 32.08, Paul was nearly a minute clear of his nearest competitor, as was Donna in 37.55. Gerard Claffey was our only competitor in the Inter Varsities T&F Championships in Santry last night. Competing for Trinity College he ran 4.33 in the 1,500m and finished 7th. This was Gerard's 2nd run over 1,500m and sets him up well for the summer Graded meetings....

At Wednesday's first Dublin graded meeting in Santry Stuart McClean ran a time of 2.12 in the 800m. In the 3,000m Paul McGovern ran 9.11, followed by Owen McLoughlin 9.41 and Derek Bain 10.28.
